Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and well worth the effort to find. Would recommend to friends. Each unit does have its own bathroom so when it says "shared" I think they just mean not ensuite.

Excellent apartments, very clean, really well equipped and in a lovely setting and a little isolated. I went out of season (end of April) to visit family in the area so only spent the nights at the hotel. I was surprised to find I was the only resident for the whole week! Although the restaurant seemed popular on the Friday night. The three staff I encountered were very nice, friendly and polite but spoke very little English.

The location is peaceful and can be explored on foot but it is essential to have a car as it is a long way to anywhere. The apartment, for 2 people, was generously sized and comfortable and the staff-owner very helpful and welcoming. We stayed in early March and were at times the only guests around. It is helpful if you can speak a little Spanish (even poor, like mine!). We recommend it but emphasise that it is off the beaten track (although easy enough to find) with nearest shops in Albox, 15 mins drive. Only a bar in Taberno itself (supermarket had closed down) which is only 5 mins drive.
