Fabulous stay at The Sun Inn. Excellent value for money. I was upgraded free of charge. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. Would definitely stay at The Sun Inn again next time I visit Lancaster.

We stayed in one of the suites with a tub. It was an excellent room and we really enjoyed out stay. The restaurant was also excellent!

Great central location and well appointed. Bit nonplussed with the lack of bottled water in the room when glasses are provided tho'. We didn't eat in the hotel but the menu looked very good.

Quality establishment in prime location

I had the do not disturb on the door.... and the lady came to come in...... luckily i was awake and i think she realised... She did apologise to me later to be fair. Room was ready early which is always a bonus

Property ideal location. The staff where really good. Only thing i can say is it says sound proof walls we could still hear some noise

We were greeted on arrival by a very welcoming young lady who checked us in and showed us to our room. Room was spotless and beautifully decorated. Stayed to eat some lunch, service was friendly and efficient. After a wander round Lancaster, back to our room for showers and a change. Bathroom was clean, toiletries to hand and enough towels for the two of us. We had a quick drink before heading off for our evening meal, the bar was busy but didn’t have to wait very long. On checkout the following morning, we were asked how our stay was and wished well. Couldn’t have asked for anything more, we felt welcome and enjoyed our stay very much.

Warm and cosy double room, 7 min walk from the railway station and restaurants in close walking distance. Good location for the town centre, museums and castle. Friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend.

Lovely hotel. Room was comfortable and I really liked the bar downstairs. We had dinner and breakfast in bar. Lots of options and both excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful. Thi is my favourite place to stay in Lancaster. Central and can walk to train station from it.
