Not really a hotel. No address posted outside. Driver could not find the location. Not very clean. There were stains on the towels. Would be of stayed somewhere else had I known.

Le lit était très confortable. La douche et les savons fournis étaient de qualité. Le proximité avec le métro et le prix abordable étaient les principaux incitatifs pour nous. La propreté était passable, le lavabo de la salle et bain et la porte de la salle de bain n’était pas propre, le lit était propre et c’est l’important. Il y avait un aspirateur dans le couloir à la traîne une partie de notre séjour. Il faisait un peu show dans la chambre mais un ventilateur était fourni. Nous y sommes allés que pour dormir et c’était calme et silencieux. C’est un bon rapport qualité prix sauf si votre but est de passer du temps dans votre chambre; dans ce cas je vous conseillerais un autre endroit.

Great place for a single or couple. Place to sleep and that is it. Vibration from nearby metro can be felt. Tons of stuff nearby.

The owner understood my mo ility issues. Helped me carry my luggage up the two flights of stairs. Explained where everything was. He delivered my luggato the outside so i could leave. Harley, the owner, is amazing.

It's a tiny room. Probably best for one person only. The floor was damp when we arrived and it was humid all day after a shower. Be prepared to climb stairs repetitively because there isn't an elevator, just flights of stairs. No mini-fridge. I guess I learned what a 2-star rating includes.

Location is great, the property manager is extremely helpful and friendly! Awesome place to stay for a few nights, especially if your needs are low. We had a great time.

Very well located for travel across Toronto. Room a good size and clean. Harley was very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, terrific staff

Not bad, but as a Canadian I wonder how they define ‘hotel’ after staying here. Here’s what it has that I expected and was good: clean room and bed, nice bathroom, good heat/water pressure, working wifi Here’s what it didn’t have: a lobby, any outward facing signage (impossible to know you were at the right place when dropped by uber), tv with any channels, an in room fridge, gym/bar/vending. If you’re good with all of that then this is a solid place. It is in a weird section of Toronto - across from a bus station and between the colorful pride district and Chinatown.

Such a lovely spot and the manager was just awesome!

My only complaint is that the room is not cleaned daily and Restocked with coffee etc

We had such a wonderful stay at La TUMU Hotel over the Easter long weekend! My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed our time in Toronto, and the hotel made the experience even more special. A special thank you to Harley, the manager—he was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful throughout our stay. He answered all of our questions and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. His professionalism and attentiveness really stood out. Highly recommend this place, and we would definitely stay here again!

Well located. Place was clean

Ideal location, very friendly and responsive staff, clean room—I had a wonderful stay at La TUMU! This feels more like a cross between a B&B and a university private dorm house converted in a small hotel than a boutique hotel, but, at least for me, that was not a downside at all. It didn’t seem like there were a lot of people staying at the hotel while I was there, so it was overall peaceful and perfect for my needs. I was in town for a conference, and the fact that the subway station is literally right across and that there is an abundance of restaurants in the area was amazing and very convenient! The only thing I would have liked to have in the room itself is a mini fridge, and there was sometimes a buzzing noise at night (like from an AC or something) coming from outside, but it wasn’t too bothersome and otherwise, I had a great stay and I would stay there again anytime!

The room is small and basic but clean and the bed is comfortable. It’s located right across from Wellesley subway station and there are lots of dining and shopping options nearby.

Great little place with a fantastic location. The manager (owner?) is really nice and helpful - the room was clean and as shown in the pictures. Best value for money in the area.
