Staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel was nice. We had a family room with bunks. Beds were comfortable and room was nice. Paid additional for an excellent breakfast with delicious freshly baked bread. Would definitely recommend.

The room was small, with a double bed and a bunkbed and it had small private bath. It was all very clean. The room was partially belowground, with a view of the underside of a staircase. The main house had a nice bar and comfortable sitting area with a pool and Fußball table.

The property is very nice. The area around it and the town itself is very rundown and not well cared for. Borgarnes was the most disappointing town we stopped in.

Stayed recently at Hotel Vesturland. Location is great and walkable to a number of shops and restaurants. I liked the room and the views as well. Disappointed with the fact that while there is Breakfast available, it's not offered free to guests who have booked through Expedia for some reason.

The Room is very spacious. The Size of TV compared with room size is relatively small. Room is clean. However, the room was quite hot. We borrowed a fan from the reception. The lights in the Jacuzzi area were too dark.

The room was beautiful and spacious, the staff were so friendly and helpful and the spa was such a nice perk

Welcoming and helpful staff. Nice room with good blackout curtains. Grocery store across the street and ample parking at hotel.

The hotel is not close to a big city (I mean for Iceland's standards) , but quite convenient for our itinerary. We totally recommend it!

Clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a good variety of quality food.

Average hotel … we were given 211 which had a very noisy extractor fan outside the room. When mentioned … the hotel said that it couldn’t be turned off and offered ear plugs.

We stayed for only one night, but this is one of our favorite hotels. First of all, we are family of 5 and stayed in the family room. It is more than enough to accommodate six people comfortably. The hotel is also extremely well maintained and very clean. It is directly across the street from a grocery store. Also the buffet breakfast was by far the nicest one we’ve had as we’ve driven the ring around Iceland. I could not recommend this hotel enough if you’re looking to spend a couple of days in Borgarnes.

We were immediately upgraded to a bigger room. Did not have to ask. We were just politely offered the upgrade with a smile. Refreshing.

A little dated but it has spacious rooms. Some parts of the hotel is renovated and old part is still maintained well. The hotel is close to lots of restaurants.

Very comfortable stay at Vesturland hotel. Clean and tidy, well designed common areas and professional, welcoming staff. Lots of dining options around and ample parking. We had a pleasant stay!
