We enjoyed an outstanding 3 days and nights at the Hotel Maurice. Exceptionally helpful staff and beautifully appointed rooms. Location is ‘in the action’ lively and bustling but not intrusive. A short walk to the old town. A beautiful common terrace is a lovely place to watch the world go by. Thank you for hosting us Hotel Maurice. We Loved Quebec! 🇨🇦♥️

Très belle expérience wow

Ce fut de loin ma plus belle expérience dans un hôtel. Nous y étions pour notre mariage, donc plusieurs chambres. Le service est tout simplement incroyable. Chambre un gros wow! Très propre. Je vous le conseille sans hésiter.

The street was closed when we arrived due to a festival and we didn't know how to get to the property. It was difficult to contact the staff (voice mail) but they were helpful once we contacted them. The restaurant was closed for remodeling, but we were not aware of that before arrival. The room was very dark and we couldn't open the shade on the one window in the room due to it being directly adjacent to an apartment building with windows facing it. The lighting system in the room was very non-conventical with numerous switches for the same lights placed throughout the room. It would have been nice if there was an instruction card in the room explaining how they worked. The room was nice and the bathroom was great. Everything was clean and well maintained.

Nous sommes restées une nuit en juin le soir du grand spectacle de la St-Jean). La rue Grande-Allée était fermée aux automobilistes donc arrivée à l’hôtel plus compliquée. On a attendu quelques minutes avant d’avoir quelqu’un à la réception parce que Sophie était seule pour faire l’accueil, agir comme valet (le valet était absent ce jour là) et apporter les bagages. Mais Sophie a tout fait avec grand sourire et gentillesse. Comment une administration peut-elle mettre toutes ces responsabilités sur une personne ! L’hôtel est en fin de rénovations, surtout le restaurant. Mais ce ne fut pas dêrangeant. L’hôtel, ouvert depuis 2ans est décoré avec goût, style éclectique. Chambre, lit, terrasse, très confortables et propres.On a adoré la grande terrasse qui adonne sur Grande-Allée. Tout est neuf, beau design, plusieurs foyers. On a beaucoup aimé notre expérience à l’hôtel Maurice et le prix est très raisonnable (260$ tout inclus). Merci à Sophie pour son dévouement.

L’hôtel et le restaurant sont toujours en rénovation. Malgré tout, le personnel et la chambre étaient parfaites. Il est à noter que l’hôtel ne possède pas de borne de recharge comme stipulé lors de la réservation.

At the time of booking we were not aware of the extensive renovations that were being carried out, hence not a five star review. However, the room and young staff were excellent and we could see the potential. Location was excellent. Despite the lack of amenities I would still highly recommend Hotel Maurice

This hotel is beautiful and charming. The location is tough to beat, as we were able to walk to Old Town and the port. We loved sitting on our patio area at night and enjoying a fire as well! The staff was extremely friendly and went above and beyond to help us when we needed it. The restaurant was being remodeled while we are there but it looks like it will be amazing once it is done. If we are ever back to Quebec City, we would look to stay here again!

Wonderful beautiful hotel and amazingly helpful staff!!! Definitely worth getting a balcony room if available. Lots of restaurants close by e short walk to old town.

All in all, it was a great experience. It seems that the hotel is newly renovated so it felt modern, new, and comfortable.

C'est le meilleur lit et les meilleurs oreillers que j'ai eu l'occasion de tester de ma vie. De plus, la chambre avait une ambiance très apaisante. Ma chambre avait un balcon qui donnait sur une rue très animée et je n'ai entendu aucun bruit. Cet hôtel offre l'avantage d'être bien située sans les problème de nuisances sonores. Petit bémol, la chambre avait l'air plus petite que sur les photos et la salle de bain qui est magnifique est démesurée pas rapport à la chambre mais ce n'est pas un enjeu. L'accueil est très bien et l''employée à la réception a été très professionnelle et charmante. Ce fut une magnifique nuitée.

We had an amazing stay in Quebec City at The Hotel Maurice. Check in was a breeze thanks to Sophie. She was incredibly helpful, to the point she walked with my MIL outside and down the street to show her where public washrooms were (in case she needed them on her stroll) The room was beautiful! A little confusing if you aren’t tech savvy lol. Location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to see. We would stay here again!
