What a gem of a hotel and perfect for solo travelers who want a safe, clean, affordable, easily accessible location to recharge and sleep. The property is lovely and the staff welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. It was especially helpful to have access to drinking water on every floor and ice downstairs in the market. The common areas both downstairs and outside of the room (balcony with tables and chairs) were nice places to relax without feeling confined to the room. The air conditioning and fans worked great and there was always hot water in the shower. WiFi was good too. Would have been nice to have a small mini fridge in the room, but made due without it. Note there is no elevator and even the second floor is up four flights of stairs, but staff was available to bring my large suitcase up when I arrived. It is also very close to the plaza, which means you will hear music and such, but it all quieted down by 11 so I wasn't terribly bothered. Was super easy to get Ubers and other activity pickups and drop offs. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely little hotel right in heart of downtown San Jose. Easy walk to the main square, shops, restaurants in the area. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom was clean, simple. Would stay again! Staff was very welcoming too!

Beautiful open air setting. Great room with a balcony. Staff gave great recommendations for local food that were accurate and helpful. Would recommend over and over.

A great little hotel with a perfect location. We were just a few doors off the main square. Absolutely perfect.

New person in the front desk, no customer oriented

Unfortunately, my stay was not very comfortable. There is no elevator, so carrying heavy luggage up and down the stairs was difficult and inconvenient. In addition, people were talking loudly as early as 6:00 a.m., making it hard to sleep. There was also a significant amount of noise from traffic outside, which made it difficult to rest and enjoy a peaceful stay. I would recommend this property only if you do not mind carrying luggage and are not sensitive to noise.

My husband & I stayed at Hotel Colli June 1-5, 2026. The location in proximity to the town square is awesome. From our balcony, we could hear/see the energy of the town but not so loud that we couldn't rest. Various bars/restaurants/shops are in walking distance but the ride to Cabo is only about 30 min. My only complaints are that the sink was located IN the shower in our room. Weird but not terrible. The bed was hard as a rock! I thought this would make for a terrible stay but it actually wasn't too bad. Hotel Colli is definitely worth the money. Staff was

This lovely hotel is in a beautiful heritage building in the centre of the Art District in San Jose. The rooms are cosy and very clean. The location is perfect, with dozens of bars and restaurants a few steps away. The staff are very helpful and will store your luggage if you arrive early. Prices are great for such a nice hotel!
