The shower head is up so high my husband who is 6 feet 1 could just reach to adjust. It was on a horrible spray for my shower and I couldn’t reach to change. Staff were friendly but we called down to the valet 15 minutes prior to checking out. They didnt bring our car and had to wait another 15 to 20 for it to arrive. 30 minutes waiting for valet us too long, especially when we were the only guests checking out.

New property that's only a few months old, very nice decor, modern, comfortable, gym and breakfast areas were clean and offered good selection for breakfast. Parking was outdoors and valet only. Price for valet parking was in my opinion a bit high considering it's outdoor parking too. Option should be given to self park for a lower price. Staff was very friendly though and helpful. Good area and easy to walk to shops/restaurants.

Very nice hotel. Extremely clean, seemed brand new. Breakfast was great and the room was very modern and comfortable. My only complaint is the overpriced parking. $45 per night is outrageous. Even for downtown Calgary. Nearby lots were cheaper. You would think a paying guest would be given a reasonable rate?

This hotel is in a great downtown location. It has a really nice workout room and the hot breakfast was much better than I was expecting. The room was clean, modern and the bedding was really comfortable. It may just be the particular corner room we were in but it was hot and cold all night as the AC turned off and on. Valet parking is literally in a lot right beside the hotel and they charge $45 for it with no self-parking option.

Positives: clean setting, comfortable bed; good shower/bathroom; generally very cheerful and welcoming staff. Negative: inadequate sound-proofing; uneven responsiveness by under trained staff when dealing with issues. In specific, I contacted the front desk in the evening after arriving on Saturday afternoon to inform them of extremely rowdy neighbours who were persistently treating the hallway as a loud bar. Anticipating further issues overnight, I specifically asked the front desk person to remind this group without any ambiguity about property rules pertaining to after hours noise rules as they seemed about to attend a prom or a wedding that night. I was reassured repeatedly that this matter would be addressed immediately and directly. Unfortunately, I was woken up on four different occasions by the same group overnight — ahead of a full conference day. After calling the front desk at 1:30 a.m., a security guard was sent up to the floor, who went straight back down after asking the noisy neighbors in the hallway “are you guys ok?” and being told “yeah!” I finally had to open my door at 4:00 a.m. to confront this group myself assertively. Needless to say, I had to attend the first day of my conference on Sunday right after an extremely poor night of sleep. I will not be booking at this property in the future given both the undertrained staff and inadequate soundproofing, and suggest avoiding the place if anyone is attending a conference or other productive stay.

Throughout the entire hotel the staff were easily the #1 star. Exceptionally friendly at check-in, breakfast and anywhere else. Hotel wise it's a fabulous location if you're going car free as it's a 2 minutes walk from the airport bus and 2 minutes to the train. The rooms are clean, very spacious but sound proofing could be improved. Breakfast is hot, plenty of options and a nice large area.
