I have stayed at Ilala Crest 5 or 6 times, but was disappointed with food and service on the recent visit. At arrived for one breakfast before 8am and much of the cooked food had been used up. There was no attempt to cook more. In my next trip, I will look elsewhere.

Had an excellent stay at Ilala Crest Lodge. Staff were incredibly friendly. I had a large well appointed room/ flat with sitting area and separate bedroom. Food in the restaurant was first class some of the best I have ever had in Africa. There is also a pleasant pool and bar area. The room rates are excellent compared to local competitors. Would highly recommend!!

The breakfast is really delicious, the room is clean, with great shower!!
