Beautiful property, excellent staff, fun excursions!

This was a great little up-and-coming spot with the BEST food! I will also say I had the greatest massage I’ve ever had with Allison! I talk about coming back all the time for both the food and my massage!

I’m so glad we chose Fort George for lodging. It was fresh, clean, comfortable, the restaurant and bar were pretty good. And I think better than surrounding options. Staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Great luxurious hotel. Stayed in the 2-bedroom suite, so much room! Very comfortable and bathrooms were amazing.

Excellent hotel! Design and architecture are beautiful. Well run hotel and restaurant. We ate breakfast and dinner at the restaurant and enjoyed both. The kids played in the pool and had it to themselves. The gym is well equipped and maintained. The only recommendation is to offer ATM at the hotel. We would recommend this property to others!

The best jumping off point for a fishing trip to Turneffe Flats, for those who prefer to (or must, due to air travel schedules) arrive a day early and relax rather than make the entire journey from home to the lodge in a single day. The hotel is beautiful and the restaurant serves up excellent local fare.

Beautiful room overlooking water. The shower was crazy big. Our meal was good and the bar service exemplary.

We had a wonderful stay here at Fort George. Cocktails were delish, food was good, and in walking distance to this super yummy spot to eat called Secret Garden as well as the port to the ferries. Literally a 3 min walk. Staff was super helpful.

Hotel was nice, clean and staff were friendly. Very little amentities and not very easy to get around outside of the hotel. Was told several times, it was not safe to walk after dusk. Our first day there we called a taxi and waited for about an hour an no one showed up. We were told that "regular" taxis have a green license plate and personal taxis (individuals) have a bc or something like that on their license plate. We never got a "real" taxi, so we were often sceptical about going places because we weren't sure who was going to show up to get us. There's not much to do around the hotel. No entertainment. And only 1 restaurant on the property. The food was "mid" and overpriced, so you have to catch a taxi early to go eat somewhere else. One night while dining at the restaurant on the property, we ordered a cheeseburger. They literally brought us back cheese on a burger bun. You have to specifically ask for beef or you'll end up with a grilled cheese sandwich. Overall it was good vacation and good experience.

The hotel is very well maintained. Staff is very friendly and help. The restaurant on the property is adequate. For those of you whose fitness is a priority their gym on premises is first class. Overall really enjoyed my experience at this hotel.

The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable with a great little pool. The restaurant on site was delicious and Jairo, our waiter, was incredibly friendly and helpful with tips for travel.

The Fort George hotel was beautiful and clean. My husband and I had a wonderful experience. The restaurant had delicious options and everything was convenient around the property. That included the ferry to Caye Caulker. We had a wonderful day trip out there and back. They are currently expanding the hotel. Will definitely visit again.
