Overall, the view is great. You can see the city lights of Yogyakarta at night, and it's truly beautiful.
But honestly, if you're staying in a tent, it does have air conditioning, but it only feels cool at night. During the day, it's hellishly hot, and the AC in the tent doesn't work at all.
Accessibility from the parking lot to the campsite is also rubbish. You have to walk a long way from the parking lot, enter the amusement park, enter the restaurant, go down one flight of stairs to the lobby, and then back down to the campsite. Just imagine what it would be like if you were carrying two suitcases.
Food-wise, yes, you can make barbecue. But the BBQ beef is only 50% fat, inedible. I tried separating the meat from the fat, but it still didn't work; it was tough. I gave it to the cat in the end. The chicken is alright, it's delicious with its own marinade.
And another thing: the zipper on the tent breaks at night. It gets stuck and when I try to pull it up, it breaks.
Yes, the point is, if you want to try glamping, that's fine. It's just that once is enough for me.
