Nous avions réservé pour 3 nuits à cet hôtel et avons passé par Expédia pour la réservation. Le matin même Expédia nous informe que nous ne pouvons pas aller dormir à l'hôtel que nous avons choisi car l'hôtel ne pouvais pas nous recevoir pour problême avec l'hôtel. Nous avons eu un très bon service avec Expédia qui nous a dirigé vers un autre hôtel. Par contre nous étions très déçu que l'hôtel n'ai pas respecté leur engagement envers nous.

Room was clean and well kept by housekeeping. There was a hottub on the property but it was not always heated. There was no bar open on the property even though it was listed as part of the experience but the pool table and lounge room was a nice area to hang out and relax.

Off the grid/Villa verde was a great spot for us to stay for 3 nights. The property is well maintained, with beautiful lawns And lots of wildlife. We loved our stay!

The property grounds are incredible, offering an abundance of options for guests to explore and have access to. All staff encountered were kind and helpful. It was also a complete benefit that the Cloud Forest shuttle is literally right across the road! We would definitely stay here again!

What a beautiful and tranquil place. Very romantic and perfect evenings with jacuzzi and fire to enjoy. Watching the moon and chilling. Friendly staff and excellent location. Even had a a few rounds of poopl.

The room and the property could not be at a better place, right next to the CloudForest Entrance. Rooms are spacious and clean, in the middle of nature. Front desk staff was very helpful in explaining the different options of how we could utilize the couple of days, with different tours, and also helped us in booking some tours and the taxis. The common room is quite big with coffee in the morning. Only suggestion for the management will be to make the shared kitchen a little bit better equipped. Otherwise, this was a wonderful stay, and would stay again in our next visit.

The most excellent and friendly staff one could ask for. The common areas were always well kept and in good condition. The room was very clean and cozy. A perfect stay if traveling in Monteverde.

We loved the location. It is walking distance to the Cloud Forest entrance. Very convenient. Good value.

Frustrated with our experience. I thought he had booked us a room with a private bathroom, but we were told at check in that it would be shared. We asked if they could switch us and the gentleman at the Front Desk said they were full but walking around the property that evening and the next morning we saw very a few cars in the parking lot. Plenty of rooms with windows, open undisturbed that we could’ve been moved too. It was not convenient for me to walk down a dark unit outdoor hallway to find a bathroom at night or in the early morning hours. I did not feel safe. There was no reason why they couldn’t have moved us to one of the mini available rooms. Also, the passcode for the doorlock was our room number. Not very safe either.

Clean cabins nestled next to cloud rain forest. Refurbished rooms and large communal spaces. Friendly and helpful staff. Hope the restaurant is open next time.

Magnificent, just what we needed, a wonderful find

Location was quiet as it was at the end of the road by the reserve, we stayed from a Wednesday to Saturday, staff were nice, our room was a little cramped for 4. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed.

Amazing location and hot tub

Property is undergoing change in management. Very basic kitchen but lovely rooms, bedding, and hot tub, and a stone throw away from the Monteverde Cloud Forest. Not very close to the town centre so may require a car.

Room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Staff was very helpful and common areas (fireplace, hot tubs) were nice features.

Nice room, Wifi worked well and the staff at the reception desk were very helpful. These rooms do not have A/C or fans, something not mentioned in the listing. I was not uncomfortable, just something to take into consideration. If you plan to go to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Biological Preserve, this hotel location is ideal. It is directly across the street from the Visitor center. The hotel property is beautiful.

The hotel is located in very quiet area, close to National park. The room was very clean. Staff was very helpful. There is a lot of parking space what is in sharp contrast to city centre. Alex and Ewa

Gorgeous property, beautiful location. Very conveniently located right across the street from the Monte Verde Cloud Forest Reserve. The only problem we had was finding the location, it seems the management or name of the hotel had changed, but thankfully we stopped by a local hotel and they helped us find our way.

Great location to visit Monteverde. Bad location for going out to eat. Pictures obviously from long ago. The floors in the room was so loud and creaky, and so was the neighbors. I wouldn't spend more than one night here.
