Huge welcome from Gill at the reception whom I'd met before when I stayed there. Stayed in a different room that was very clean and comfortable. Enjoyable stay and everything I needed was provided.

Hotel in perfect location for exploring Liverpool, close to docks, shops and numerous places to eat. Hotel is excellent value for money and Raphael, Gill and the team are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely stay again.

I was really glad that I chose this hotel to stay in last week. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location of the hotel was great too. I would definitely recommend it, and would be very happy to return.

Staff at Duke street are amazing really friendly and helpful. The rooms are a good size , but they can get quite stuffy due to the heat. Unfortunately there is no air conditioning but staff are happy to provide extra fans if needed, but the room can get very hot. The location is great to get around and a 10-15min walk to the station. I would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely faultless Great location Great facilities Comfy Bed I don’t believe the tv is a smart tv but a lot of channels. Despite it being warmer weather than usual the room was still cool enough. Ground floor.

The location is fantastic—close to all the main attractions with plenty of nearby parking options. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade on arrival. The room itself was spacious with an extremely comfortable bed. The clothes rack and hangers provided more than enough storage for our two‑night stay. Being at the back of the hotel, the room was quite dark as it faced a wall—not a major issue, though we were treated to an early‑morning pigeon cooing on the window ledge! The rainfall shower was lovely, but the wet‑room style ensuite meant water didn’t drain properly and pooled near the toilet. On our last night we found ourselves pushing water back toward the drain which isn’t quite how you want to spend your time. Storage in the bathroom was also limited; the only place for toiletries was the large windowsill above the toilet, which isn’t ideal for keeping toothbrushes. Towels were small, and one was ripped with holes, as though it had been damaged. The TV worked fine, though we couldn’t turn off the subtitles—a minor annoyance. Overall, the bed was the highlight: huge and incredibly comfortable. If not for the pigeon alarm clock, I might have had my first proper lie‑in in years Overall really enjoyed our stay at 19 Duke Street, location and bed alone makes it definitely worth a visit!

Position of hotel is excellent for getting around the city centre. Clean room, a minor mishap in the en-suite but staff dealt with it quickly when reported. Overall it was a lovely stay and quiet and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Perfect location. Short walk to all we needed. Steep stairs to our room at the top. Could have had an outlet in the bathroom. Else the room was nice.

Welcoming staff and lovely room, although no spa bath as advertised-would advise check directly with hotel in advance if you specifically want this. Great location in walking distance of Liverpool One and Albert Dock.

Ideally located in the centre of the city, close to shops, restaurants, pubs etc. Rooms are of a decent size (bed was huge!). The room had full amenities ie tea/coffee facilities, TV, hairdryer etc. My only criticism is that the bedroom didn't have a mirror (although there is one in the bathroom). Bathroom was large and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel doesn't have its own car park, they did recommend a covered car park nearby which was convenient. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Liverpool. 😊

Rooms where clean and staff was very friendly with a great location. A little difficult to reach staff before check-in time (11am), but this doesn't take away from the overall experience significantly in my opinion.
