My first time at this 5-star hotel, the shower flooded, there were no hand towels, and tea bags and other items weren't replenished daily. Basically, it wasn't well maintained. But maybe my expectations were too high. I was given a compliment of some cookies, but the staff who brought them said, "Please accept them, sir. Please improve, okay? We were there for 4 days, but there was a lot of less than satisfactory service. Even when we wanted to check in, when we were picking up our luggage, we asked who the drinks were for, and they said they were for VIP guests. Then we asked, "So, we're not VIP guests? How do we become VIP guests?" They just smiled.
