The hike to the summit of Mount Batur starts from the Serongga starting point, which takes around 60 to 90 minutes depending on your fitness level. The hiking trail is RELATIVELY EASY, where you can rest several times at several points.
- Once at the top, the guide will prepare breakfast and hot drinks, while you rest and enjoy the beautiful views from above, such as views of:
- Lake Batur
- Sunrise
- Mount Rinjani on the island of Lombok if you look east
- Sometimes there are clouds stretching below, and you feel as if you are flying above the clouds
- There is also a beautiful crater, cute monkeys, and black lava from previous eruptions.
