About Open Trip KEN Pacu Jalur
Ever seen a little kid dancing on a boat that went viral on social media? That's Pacu Jalur in Kuansing, Riau! Pacu Jalur is a type of traditional rowing competition originating from Kuantan Singingi Regency (Kuansing), Riau. This rowing competition uses boats made from logs, a.k.a. whole wood without joints. The people of Riau know these boats as "jalur".

What's Included
Pacu Jalur in 2025 will be held again on August 20-24, as in previous years. This traditional boat, sampan, or canoe rowing competition will be held in Teluk Kuantan. In 2024, Pacu Jalur was participated by 193 jalur from Kuansing Regency, as well as various other Regencies in Riau. You can imagine how lively this festival event will be.
