Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) is a magnificent cultural park spanning ±60 hectares located in Bukit Ungasan, Jimbaran, South Bali. This place is an icon of Balinese tourism and home to one of the tallest statues in the world: the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Statue, 121 meters high (taller than the Statue of Liberty in the US!), Meaning and Symbolism: This statue depicts Lord Vishnu, the protector of the universe, riding the Garuda bird, a symbol of courage and loyalty. This work was designed by the famous Balinese artist, I Nyoman Nuarta, and took decades to complete.

Pura Luhur Uluwatu is one of the six main temples guarding the cardinal directions in Bali, located on the southwestern tip of the island, standing majestically on a ±70 meter high coral cliff directly overlooking the Indian Ocean. This temple has the best sunset views in Bali, with a backdrop of the vast blue sea and waves crashing against the coral cliffs. Around the temple area there are many monkeys which are considered spiritual guardians. Be careful with your belongings, especially glasses and hats.

Kecak Fire Dance in Uluwatu is one of the most iconic cultural performances in Bali, performed on an open stage with the sunset and Indian Ocean directly in the background. Played by dozens of men sitting in a circle, dancing and voicing "cak" rhythmically. There are no musical instruments, only the harmony of human voices. It raises the story of the Ramayana which tells the story of Rama's struggle to save Dewi Sita from Rahwana, with characters such as Hanoman (white monkey) and Rahwana shown theatrically.
