Nikko Pass can only be purchased and used by non-Japanese citizens. Passport or valid ID may be required for verification upon ticket collection.

Good to know:

The pass cannot be used on limited express trains. An additional surcharge is required.
The pass does not include a designated seat on the steam-locomotive-powered train SL Taiju. An additional surcharge is required.
The pass does not come with admission for shrines and temples in Nikko. However, it offers discounted admission to Tobu World Square and EDO WONDERLAND Nikko Edomura.
The Tobu Railway Interval Section allows boarding at the Tobu-Nikko Station, Yumoto Onsen, Kotoku Onsen, and Kirifuri Waterfall.
