Discover Kyoto's must-see landmarks and World Heritage Sites on a deluxe coach in our one day tour!
This tour takes you to the most famous locations in ancient Kyoto, including Kiyomizu-dera Temple, Sanjusangen-do Temple, Arashiyama, Sagano Bamboo Forest, Tenryu-ji Temple, the Golden Pavilion, and Fushimi Inari Shrine.
The tour departs from Kyoto at 8:00 AM on a comfortable, air-conditioned coach. The first stop is Kiyomizu-dera Temple, where you can admire panoramic views of the city from its iconic terrace. Reportedly opened in the year 778, this historic temple is a designated World Heritage Site and a must- stop on any Kyoto itinerary.
Next, the tour will bring you to visit the Sanjusangen-do Temple, also known as the Temple of 33 Spaces (Sanjusan means "33" in Japanese), thought it's official name is actually Rengo-In. Its hall is Japan's longest wooden structure and features 33 sections formed by 35 columns. Inside, you’ll encounter 1,001 Kannon statues.
After exploring Kyoto's east side, the bus will take you to Arashiyama and Sagano, located on the other side of Kyoto. Enjoy a Japanese buffet made with seasonal ingredients while overlooking the famous Togetsukyo Bridge, Arashiyama’s central landmark. The area is filled with quaint shops, restaurants, and attractions.

After lunch, take a stroll through the stunning green tunnels of the Sagano Bamboo Forest, with its picturesque paths and serene atmosphere. When the wind blows, the gentle swaying of the tall bamboo stalks creates a mesmerizing experience.
After passing through the bamboo grove, continue to the Tenryu-ji Temple, a World Heritage Site known for its exquisite Japanese gardens that showcase beauty throughout the seasons.
The next stop is Kinkaku-ji (The Golden Temple). Also known as Rokuon-ji Temple, this famous temple is known for its gorgeousness and sure to leave you satisfied.
Finally, visit Kyoto’s most iconic site, Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine. Walk through thousands of vivid red torii gates that will give you a truly unforgettable experience.
The tour will then conclude at Kyoto Station.
