For the first day of this wonderful 2 nights trip, depart from Batang Ai and gaze at the paddy fields and kampungs along the way and make stops at 2 towns: Serian and Lachau. After stopping for lunch, you'll get to ride in a local-style boat along the waters and settle into an Iban Longhouse. (Please keep in mind that there will be dogs present and also close to you at the accommodation) With native dishes and local cuisince, soak in the nature's atmosphere and experience music and dance together with the longhouse folks. Taste the tuak, a home-made rice wine, and share your little gifts to the Iban which will be shared to everyone there in the evening activity. These small expensive presents may be stationary items, coloring books, candies for kids. Spend the night at the longhouse (ruai) and relax fully amidst nature and the hospitable people.

Next day, rise early and enjoy a local breakfast. Experience local culture by joining the blowpipe and cockfight demonstration. Then have some time dedicated to nature walk and relaxation, you'll get to visit farms of the area and an Iban burial ground. After your visits, head back to the river jetty and depart for the city while enjoying some hearty lunch along the way. Then, the transfer service drops you back at your accommodation, full of wonderful memories.

08:30-13:30 Depart from your hotel to Batang Ai. This journey takes 5 hours where you can enjoy the scenery of pepper plantation and farms, paddy fields with unique kampungs.

14:30-22:00 Arrive at Batang Ai Dam and board a native boat. After arrival at the Iban Longhouse, enjoy a native dinner, an evening of music and dance with home-made rice wine.
