Batu Caves has 272 steps. Climbing is optional. The Kuala Lumpur city tour is complimentary and lasts around 2 hours. A Nature Guide is included specifically for your visit to the National Elephant Conservation Centre. The Nature Guide service is only for the Elephant Sanctuary portion and does not apply to Batu Caves or the complimentary KL tour. Elephant activities are managed by the conservation centre and follow its visitor programme and safety requirements. Guests should wear modest clothing when visiting Batu Caves.
