Just two hours away from Cebu City, visit Aloguinsan and Barili towns for the perfect Nature Escape and Eco-Tour. Bojo River was recognized as one of the Best Tourism Villages in 2021 by the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
Upon arrival, native snacks will be served along with a serenade of native folk songs. The local guide will give a brief history of the community's eco-tourism activities. Cruise along Bojo River in a paddle boat, up to where the river meets the sea. You have the option to swim in its cool waters. After the cruise, lunch will be served by the community followed by a hands-on demonstration of native crafts.
After lunch, you will be brought to Hermit's Cove, a beautiful white sand beach with a view of Mount Kanlaon in neighboring Negros Island, where you may swim or snorkel.
Afterwards, you will visit the majestic 98-meter high Mantayupan Waterfalls in Barili town, the highest waterfalls in the island of Cebu. After a refreshing look, stop over nearby Milk Station for some goat’s milk ice cream or snacks.
On your way home to Cebu City, you may stop over Naga City to visit the Boardwalk. Take in the sea views and walk through Pasilong sa Naga, a beautiful elevated walkway and fountain. Explore the many food vendors and watch the sunset along the boardwalk. It's a great way to end your day.
