While in the south, have a fun day at Shoushan Zoo! Located on Shou Mountain, it is the largest public zoo in southern Taiwan. See animals like predators, birds, reptiles, and nocturnal animals in the six areas, or interact with friendly animals in the petting zoo. After a year-long renovation, the zoo is ready to welcome visitors with brand-new facilities like a skywalk, recessed play fountains to curb the heat, and a glasshouse cafe transformed from the old chimpanzee enclosure for guests to get a taste of what it's like on the other side of the cage.
