If you don’t know where to go for authentic Thai eats, we’ve got you covered with this food and street art walking tour! We’ll meet at the Saphan Taksin Station before heading to a fresh market where we’ll sample roast duck with rice at a famous local restaurant over 100 years old! We’ll continue along Charoenkrung Road, picking up iconic street food like Thai milk tea, mataba (stuffed pancakes), Thai BBQ snacks, fresh fruit, papaya salad, and sticky rice.
After stuffing ourselves with delicious Thai snacks, we’ll explore the nearby side streets, weaving in between hidden Buddhist temples and small local communities. We’ll also admire colorful Bangkok street art along the way, in its many different forms. Then, we’ll board a ferry across the river to Klong San Market.
After spending an hour along the stalls, we’ll head back across the river and stop at a beautiful Catholic Church. There, we’ll stroll through the old colonial neighborhood before trying Yen Ta Fo, also known as pink noodle soup because of the pinkish tinge of the sauce that lends the white noodles the unique hue. We’ll end the tour at the Si Phraya Express Boat Pier, where we’ll snap postcard-perfect photos of the cityscape from across the river.
