The largest of Seoul’s 5 grand palaces, Gyeongbokgung (Gyeongbok) Palace once served as the central government of the Joseon Dynasty. Located in the north of Gwanghwamun Gate, the castle is made complete with the National Folk Museum of Korea. The place is now open to public, and visitors wearing Hanbok can get a free entry. Don’t forget to see the guards changing ceremony twice a day.
