Monumen Yogya Kembali, also known as Monjali, is a history museum commemorating Indonesia's struggle for independence. The museum is filled with various documents, weapons, dioramas, and other historic items dating from 1945 to 1949 — including a horse carriage used by the famous general, Sudirman. In the afternoon, the museum's garden area is transformed into a night festival filled with lanterns, games, and street food.
