Day 1 Welcome to Amsterdam

Day 2 Around Amsterdam

Amsterdam has a million charms. One of the big cities in the Netherlands has even become one of the most popular tourist destinations. Albert Cuyp Markt can be your first destination to get the authentic feel of the city of Amsterdam.

As the largest street market, you can find a variety of goods and also meet many people from various countries. Not so far away, you can head to the Stadsarchief, the vital document center in Amsterdam. You can find many unique things here, such as a map of Amsterdam in 1625.

After that, you can walk along the Canal Ring. You can get around for free on foot, by bicycle, or by boat by paying a certain amount. After that, you can enjoy the cuisine of your choice in the many cafes around the Canal of Amsterdam.

You can take a free walking tour in the late afternoon, starting from Dam Square. You can see many things, including Frank Anne's house, and visit the second largest library in Europe, the OBA Central Library.

Day 3 Tulip hunting

Haven't been to the Netherlands if you haven't found tulips. You can see it at Bloemenmarkt, the flower market in Amsterdam in Singel, between Muntplein and Koningsplein. There are tulips, daffodils, lilies, and many others.

The Amsterdam Tulip Museum can be your next destination. You can see the history of tulips in the Netherlands and other interesting facts.

After that, you can enjoy lunch break concerts in several places, which only take place between September to May or June. There is a Concertgebouw for classical music lovers, a Muziektheater for opera lovers, and the Dutch Philharmonic and Bimhuis for jazz lovers. The last two free concerts are only available every Tuesday, while the Concertgebouw is shown every Wednesday between 12.30 and 13.00.

Day 4 De Rijp, Edam and Zaanse Schans

You haven't been to Holland if you haven't seen tulips and windmills. Incidentally, in these three areas, you can see what this Dutch icon is. The trip to De Rijp can be reached by bus or other vehicles with a journey time of 20 minutes.

Day 5 Welcome to Rotterdam

Assuming you take the earliest morning trip, from Amsterdam to Rotterdam, it can be reached by train. By paying a ticket of 18 euros, you will get to Rotterdam Central within one hour. The station in Rotterdam itself displays a unique piece of art and architecture.

You can take pictures or enjoy the fun bustle of people passing by. After that, you can go to the inn. Hostels are still the best option for your frugal vacation.
