Minor/Significant Flight Schedule Changes and Special Recovery Policy

About Schedule Changes

Whether it’s bad weather or operational reasons, an airline might occasionally change your flight schedule. The schedule change can range from a few minutes to a day, and every airline has its own definition of what counts as a minor or a significant schedule change.

In such cases, you may be eligible to reschedule or refund your ticket for free or with a fee, depending on factors such as your ticket policy and schedule change category. Please check our email to see your reschedule or refund eligibility.

Minor Schedule Changes

An airline categorizes your flight change as a minor schedule change when the time difference between your flight’s original and new schedules falls within its predetermined limit.

If you experience a minor schedule change and want to reschedule or refund your flight, a regular policy applies, meaning you may need to pay a reschedule or refund fee. In this case, the airline is not obliged to provide special compensation.

Significant Schedule Changes

If the time difference between your flight’s original and new schedules is greater than the predetermined limit, then you are experiencing a significant schedule change.

In this case, the airline will follow a special recovery policy where it is obliged to provide you with special compensation, such as a free reschedule or a full refund.
