Hotel was closed so we had to find another hotel

I loved this hotel. It had a Wes Anderson vibe. The service was pleasantly old-school, and somewhat formal and matronly. The room was tiny with retro furnishings and the balcony looked out onto rapids with a soothing sound. The onsite restaurant was surprisingly excellent for a mid-range hotel. Free parking onsite was a bonus. Excellent value. I'd stay here again and again.

Great position and great breakfast.

1st, There were a number of road works around the property, making it extremely difficult to navigate to, whilst not the fault of the property, an email to warn of this and offer an alternative route would have been useful. 2nd, The check in was not smooth, the receptionist was brusque, taking over 10 minutes to find my booking on Expedia, despite it being booked and paid for in full ! 3rd, We were shown to our room by an elderly gent who had to walk up the stairs as there was no room in the lift, he simply unlocked the door, and threw the key on the desk without a word, turned and left - not very friendly at all. 4th, The room was very basic, no tea/coffee making facilities. 5th We went for a walk around the town to get a cup of coffee, and returned to hotel to have dinner, only to be told that the restaurant was fully booked, despite there being at least 10 or more empty tables - we were then told that we should have pre booked, if we had been advised to do so. 6th, Breakfast was awkward - due to the table of 24 that had been laid down the middle of the dining room making the one and only coffee machine in-accessible and the Juice machine even more in-accessible All in all - not a very pleasant or enjoyable stay

I liked attention!!... Especially by the reception lady

The staff at the Univers were so friendly and helpful! The room was perfect with a view of the river. Breakfast was great and dinner was excellent. Although it's slightly off the beaten track it's within walking distance of the centre of Encamp and the Funicamp cable car (although that was closed whilst we were there, unfortunately). The hotel is not the easiest to find (at the time of writing there were lots of road closures because of civic improvements) but, with free parking, it's worth checking out. We'll definitely stay here again when we're next in Andorra.

Except for not finding our reservation when we checked in, it was great. Nice breakfast, good value.

Peu recommandable

La struttura è un po' vecchia, necessiterebbe una ristrutturazione, comunque è pulita e il prezzo è molto economico. Compreso nel prezzo viene fornita una ricca colazione con una discreta scelta di prodotti dolci e salati.

La estancia ha sido perfecta, guardan las medidas covid, el personal muy atento Las fotos de la web son totalmente iguales a la realidad.

Hotel mediocre con un servicio nefasto. No lo recomiendo para nada, en el almuerzo intentan tener máxima seguridad pero no tienen ningun protocolo claro establecido, cuándo hay 6 personas en el comedor ya van desbordados. No pienso volver nunca! Espero que os sirva en el momento de reservar, a veces pagar un poco más tiene sus ventajas y te sientes satisfecho con el trato. Gracias y salud!

Établissement vieillot mais chambre correctement équipée compte tenu des tarifs. Chambre pas prête à notre arrivée. On ne nous a pas proposé de garder nos affaires en attendant. Les patrons sont très désagréables, peut être car nous sommes français et que le COVID les inquiète !!??!! Monsieur a passé tout le petit déjeuner à désinfecter tout ce qu'il pouvait. Même ma carte bleue !

Chambre propre, personnel très sympa et qui parle bien français. Malgré tout, l'établissement et la chambre sont un peu vieillots. Pas mal de vis à vis depuis le lit.

Boa experiência, hotel pequeno mas muito confortável, muiro perto do acesso às pistas através do funicular de Encamp. Muito limpo e de ambiente familiar.
