Babel Studios

L’appartement est annoncé comme un Studio de qualité Supérieure. C’est n’est pas du tout le cas . Il n’est pas bien entretenu, la douche mouille la porte de la salle de bail qui est endommagée, le plafond a des trous et les rebords des murs sont mal peinturés et la peinture touche le plafond, les outils de la cuisine sont des mauvaise qualité , les deux couvertures ont de taches du sang que n’ont pas pu être enlevés et sont toujours utilisés à la place d être jetés, dehors de l’édifice il y a toujours des eaux qui sent très mauvais, pendant la nuit, le bruit est constant (personnes et autos). Le point positif: l’appartement est proche de tout à pied .

An excellent place. I loved it.

The area is great of the hotel is great with plenty of options for dinning and entertainment. Very nice and helpful reception team. Also they were happy to keep our bags after check-out time until time they leave (17:00) The room itself was not so great. Quite cold and no heater. Lots street noise from below. And bathroom really wasn't clean. The photos are nicer than it is actually.

Un lugar muy limpio y cómodo para quedarse. Estuve dos noches y estuve muy contenta, el cuarto tenía una pequeña parrilla y todos los utensilios en caso de querer cocinar. Había agua caliente y desde que uno entra, huele a jabón y a limpio. No es un edificio nuevo pero está muy bien acondicionado. La zona no me pareció insegura, aunque no me aventuré a salir muy tarde por la noche, pero antes de las 11 todo tranquilo, hay mucho movimiento en las calles cercanas. Muy buena calidad precio y calidad. Definitivamente me quedaría ahí otra vez

The photos on the web are of Babel Apartments down the road; the tree outside is the giveaway as there isn’t a tree outside Babel Studios. The sheets were faeces stanied and ripped; the floor was full of hair; the ceiling was unfinished concrete! We paid upfront and stayed an hour having flown from London and moved elsewhere! Disgusting foul place to be avoided at all costs - health hazard!

It took less than five minutes to establish that my colleague and I could not stay in this property. Not only were the floors and ceiling stained and unfinished concrete, the fittings were falling off the wall, the sheets and pillows badly stained and visibly dirty, no curtains, furniture badly damaged and everything was dirty - from the chairs to the shelves to the bathroom. My colleague found rat droppings in the bedroom and a used condom wrapper under the bed. This is an unsanitary, unfinished and poorly maintained property. the pictures in the advert appear to show the sister hotel, several hundred metres up the same road, which has a far nicer aspect and position. The receptionist - who did his best - was understanding and promised to arrange a full refund through Expedia when we left, less than an hour after arriving - having had to find another hotel for the week. SO far nothing has been refunded.

The area is pretty scary with lots of drunks hanging around. No attendant after 6pm at the hotel, so you are left on your own over night which is pretty scary. The power went out a few times during the evening, after the attendant at the front desk had already left for the night. Many unruly guests fighting and throwing furniture around.

Location was perfect. Stayed 3 weeks and loved the area

Very comfortable room with excellent air conditioning to battle the February humidity. Cable tv, table and chairs, basic kitchenette. Everything you need

Helpful staff and interesting area

Bedding and towels were less than desirable but overall was a good value.

Within easy walking distance of San Telmo and downtown and metro stations to get further. Clean room with basic cooking facilities.

Staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Everyone was patient and friendly

Le prix n’était pas cher, la localisation était bonne mais tout est sale. Surtout la literie Attention, discothèque sous les studios ce qui fait beaucoup de bruit la nuit Je déconseille

La propiedad está muy descuidada, nos tocó a un lado de un patio para fumar , abajo hay una discoteca que funciona hasta las 6 am ruido tremendo , el colchón sumamente mal dormimos muy mal , Expedia no nos dio la. Oportunidad de cancelar el lugar mal nada recomendable , muy deteriorado nada que ver las fotos con la realidad no servían algunas cosas , cero recomendable las toallas rotas , sábanas olían mal , no es posible que haya. Una discoteca que funciona toda la noche abajo de unos departamentos y el ruido se escarcha todo imposible dormir

El departamento lindo con todas las comodidades básicas. Aunque no nos dejaron papel higienico extra. La zona esta bien aunque hay un bar al lado y sábado por la madeigada escuche a un hombre a los gritos, peleando con una mujer. Temi por mi auto que lo habia dejado estacionado en la calle. Despues en general todo muy bien.
