ADGE Hotel & Residences

I visit Sydney quite often, and this time I ended up booking this place since my usual options were unavailable. Among the available hotels, I chose this one for its proximity to both Central Station and the ICC — both within walking distance. If you're coming from Central with luggage, I’d recommend taking an Uber. The uphill angle is fairly steep and might be much with a suitcase. But if you're someone who enjoys of intense workout, it could be worth the effort. I had a very light boarding bag and some time to spare, so walking up while taking in the area was actually enjoyable. There’s a café in the lobby where you can get breakfast, and a restaurant/bar attached on the lobby area too. The overall design had a lively feel, and while the bathroom in my room felt slightly dated, it was clean and well-kept enough to feel okay. The price was under $200, which felt fair in that area. Check-in was simple, and the receptionist in the afternoon was friendly. Check-out was also relatively smooth. Just something to note — if you have a set time for a train or flight, I’d suggest checking out earlier. The person at reception in the morning seemed to be handling other work too. I said hello, but there was no immediate response or direction. I just stood there unsure for a moment It wasn’t a big deal, and I understand staff can get busy, but if your timing is tight like mine was, it might be safer to give yourself extra time in the morning. Other than that it was good :]

Enjoyed the location and rooms were nice. Walkable from central station. Was good value for money and would happily return.

Clean, quiet, reasonably priced. Conveniently located near plenty of restaurants. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value at this price point. Will definitely stay again! Carpark is a bit squeezy and not for the faint hearted but was also the best priced for parking in the area.

Fully sick for swinging

Hotel rooms were large. Staff were responsive and it was easy to walk to downtown Sydney. Would recommend the hotel.

Ok for the price. It was convenient to where we were going but the hotel was a little quirky for us. Not great if you’re sharing with a friend as you can see everything when you’re in the bathroom

The adge has always been a good stay everytime. Love the different rooms and the decor. The convenience to the city and the safety of the close police station. Always friendly and helpful staff. The underground parking is a little tight though.

Great location

We wanted a place where we can walk to the main tourist attractions such as Opera house etc, this is a ideal place, very colourful deco all around, I am not a big fan of the see through toilet /shower though :(. Its in the middle of the LGTBQ area and very vibrant and interesting Car parking cost us 40AUD a day in the basement. overall a very good stay

Staff was nice. Bed was comfortable and good for our stay. Would stay here again.

Once again, I had an absolutely fantastic stay at ADGE! The wonderful lady at the reception greeted me with a warm smile and even let me check in early. My queen room was compact but perfect for just me! It was modern, comfortable, and packed with great amenities. Plus, the location couldn’t be better!

The bathroom walls are transparent and offer no privacy. This is negative.

Excellent hotel. Location excellent. Service generally great from the female staff. Not so great from the older gentleman. Very quiet generally. Clean. Carpet had seen better days although the hotel is new. The room had an odour of drains all the time. But very good and would stay again.
