We had a fabulous stay at Spicers Balfour that lived up to all our expectations of what we have experienced at any of the 3 other Spicers hotels we've stayed in. This one takes the boutique and personal service level up to the next level, with all the staff we dealt with being helpful, easy to deal with, and friendly, ensuring we had a very lovely time there. The room was as shown on the website and although on the slightly small side had everything we needed. The gorgeous little rooftop bar is really special with its beautiful sunset outlook over New Farm & the Story Bridge. The restaurant provided a 5-star meal in a relaxed setting with beautiful, personal service from the waitstaff. The location makes it a park your car and walk/public transport your way to so many entertainment options in the vicinity. Highly recommend the Balfour—we were there for an anniversary "staycation" and it was perfect, and only 15 mins from home.

When visiting public spaces, including parks and cultural sites, maintaining a respectful demeanour is appreciated. Visa Information

For travellers planning to visit Australia and subsequently Lutwyche, visa requirements vary significantly based on nationality. United States passport holders typically benefit from an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA), which is a simple online application process allowing for short stays for tourism or business. European passport holders from countries like the UK, Germany, and France also generally qualify for an ETA or can enter under visa-waiver programs for short tourist visits.

Indian passport holders usually require a specific visa to enter Australia, such as the Visitor visa (subclass 600), which involves a more detailed application process and may require proof of funds and strong ties to their home country. Travellers from African nations, including Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa, will also need to apply for an appropriate Australian visa, often the Visitor visa (subclass 600), with specific documentation requirements that can include biometrics and detailed personal history.

The application process for Australian visas generally involves online submissions through the Department of Home Affairs website. Required documents typically include a valid passport with at least six months' validity beyond your intended stay, proof of accommodation, and evidence of onward travel.
