An excellent and central place to stay in Launceston at a great price point. Possibly the most comfortable bed we'd ever experienced in a hotel and helpful staff who were at arms length until needed. Good parking, nice view over the city, a lift, and good heating all added to our winter visit.

Great, clean, quiet room. Good comfortable bed for a good nights sleep. Only criticism is street signage at front of property is very hard to see, especially at night.

Was once a convent or some such I believe. Well fitted out to a boutique type hotel. Very comfy rooms, quiet location. More than happy to stay again.

The gaps under and around the room doors allowed alot of noise through and the rude receptionist explained to me how to unlock a door with a key and then had me do it infront of him. He also came into my room and stayed way too long.

I liked the nice big rooms but the art works detracted from the charm of the place. If the hotel invested in large photographs of nearby places such as cradle mountain or traditional art that suited the building it would have elevated the feel of the hotel in my opinion.

James, the manager was helpful at check in as he provided information about where to eat etc. We really appreciate the room upgrade. The hotel is quaint and pretty. The chambermaid is new therefore the bed was not properly made up on our 2nd night.
