We stayed during a public holiday so did not see any staff but check-in was really easy as messages were sent with details. Good place to stay.

We've stayed at the Cattleman's Rest Motor Inn many times over the years and have always been happy with the service and accommodation. The fact that they have a restaurant attached, that serves excellent meals, is a bonus.

Batteries in remote flat. Restaurant not open and hasn’t been for some time. Toilet pedestal loose and wobbly. No plates Knives forks or other cutlery in room. No microwave. No basin in badly renovated bathroom. In other words, a real dump.

Had to clean aircon filters myself just so the air-conditioning would work properly, any cleaner should know to check aircon filters on there weekly or daily clean, they were full of dust and the aircon worked much better after they were cleaned.
