We had a function at Brisbane convention centre, this is close enough to the city but far enough to be not so hectic. Studio room was large with washing machine, dishwasher, microwave & stovetop, everything you might need. Bathroom is small & door handle opened upwards rather than down. Bed wasn't great. Good parking access.

Have stayed here many times. Primarily because of the location. Usually OK. Had a few problems this time: Relatively small room even though I was staying there five days. Main light didn't work, and my request to fix it went nowhere. Had to ask twice to get a receipt / invoice sent to me. Relatively slow to check in. No internet for 1 full evening/night. Seems to be a hotel in decline at the moment. Location is good. Room was clean.

The Airconditioning in the bedroom was noisey, the pillows were below average ( all of them). The receptionist on the front desk was very off hand, not at all welcoming ( probably needs to find a back office job) and the next receptionist quizzed my daughter how long she would be visiting for, this was on the morning of checkout!

Comfortable and large room, well appointed. However, both of the split system air conditioners were extremely noisy. Too loud to sleep so I turned them off and slept with the fan only. Unfortunately when the room card is placed in the slot to give the room power, the switchboard which is in the bedroom, emits a loud buzzing sound. Subsequently had a very warm night.
