Joondalup Resort

Many of the furnishings in the room were stained , the bin was full on arrival and 1 of the lamps didn’t work. I had to query the reasoning behind the higher price charged for our second night, which they then refunded the difference.

The resort is beautiful, a peaceful place and very clean. The room was very comfy, and we liked it all. We have to mention the reception's staff. They were very friendly, attentive, and funny. We checked in very late, and the receptionist (the Sudanese guy) was very friendly and funny. During checkout, Timna patiently answered our questions and kept her beautiful smile. We felt very welcomed and will surely come back soon. I highly recommend this place if you want to escape from the city's noise without going far from it.

Spacious room

Friendly and helpful staff. The pool area was well cared for and plenty of pool lounges. Set amongst a beautiful garden. Room with a balcony was clean. A little dated but very clean and comfortable. Food was excellent, especially the desserts!

Gardens were lovely

Room was spotless and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that was a let down was the watered down shampoo/conditioner all in one bottle in shower!

Lovely place

The reception staff and management staff were shocking, terrible customer service. They took our $300 bond that we put down because my husband was vaping outside the room standing at the bedroom door which apparently is not allowed as there are designated smoking areas outside the hotel which we knew absolutely nothing about. There was no damage at all to the room, there was no smell, it didn’t effect the staff or the next customer who checked in after us, it made absolutely zero effect on the hotel what so ever yet they still took it upon themselves to charge me our entire bond! This is after spending $400 on a room we checked into at 8pm and also another $200 on top at their in house restaurant all to then we charged an additional $300 for nothing was absolutely disgusting. In total $900 for a few hours spent at the resort only to stay in a room that smelt so incredibly bad and musty and was so out of date with their décor, then to be treated like that by the staff was unheard of. Do not rate of recommend this resort. The grounds of it are beautiful, that is where the good starts and ends

Room was a great size. Grand-daughters loved the pool. Staff were very helpful.
