The bed could be cantered in the room so you can access the cupboard.
Front door not secure as there was a person sleeping in the foyer down the back with a bottle of whiskey. I left early around 6:30 and another guest disturbed him and he left. Not good security over night.

Kirketon rooms and staff were fantastic. However the back section of the building hosts functions and parties. As we left the building in the early evening blackjack tables were being brought into the back section. When we returned later in the night the party was in full swing. People spilling out on the street having a disagreement about something looking like they were about to punch on. The noise kept going into the early hours of the morning.
Accomodation wise it’s fantastic just check if there’s a function on before you book.

I stayed for two nights. The first was quiet, but the second night there was loud music until around 1AM. I was informed this came from a venue in the same building. I didn’t see any mention of this on the hotel's website. I contacted the hotel about the issue but didn’t receive a reply. Unfortunately, I didn’t sleep at all and wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
