The view from the room was amazing! Although it's above a pub, it was quiet, clean and a surprisingly great room. Definitely recommend.

I have stayed at The Marquis on 2 occasions and both times had a great visit. From check in to check out it’s been great. The rooms are clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The beds are great so a good night sleep is on the cards. Location is quiet and the surrounds are beautiful. The view is top notch. The meals at the pub are excellent and good value. I will be back and can definitely recommend.

This hotel/motel was a great find! Our room (number 7) had an amazing view over Hobart and the water. Rooms are spacious and have really comfortable beds. Water pressure in shower was excellent. Air cond/heating works really well. We loved being able to have the windows open too. Staff were really friendly and there's a mini mart a short walk away. The hotel is on a hill though so it is quite a steep walk down and back up from the city centre. We enjoyed the exercise though. Not good for the elderly unless you have a car or using Uber/Taxi.

It was the best motel. If you travel with your own transport, location is good and free parking also. Also stay over 2 night, they clean your room. We all enjoyed staying at this accommodation.

Great family run pub. All the staff are so friendly and happy. Food great and not over priced. TV 's with the footy and races, TAB. 2nd stay and will definitely stay again next time in Hobart.
