Rocklea International Motel

Basic but it is a motel, I would have really been annoyed paying their full rate! Carpets need replacing especially in the passages and skirtings all around need repainting to refresh the look. Velvet feel lounge chairs in the room need a good clean as they were stained. Bathrooms need an update, just some new silicone and new toilet roll holders (chrome plated are rusted) small changes/updates like this would help. Mugs in the room are too tall for the coffee machine. Need an antislip mat under the micro and it moves around just opening and closing the door. The bed was fine for one night. Would have been nice to have an extra blanket available. There is a pub across the road for meals and drinks as there is only a vending machine on site.

Always an amazing experience coming to this place and the staff are all very helpful and friendly. Place is always clean and neat, facilities are great, highly recommended!

The steel fittings in the bathroom were rusting and when we returned after dark found the room full of roaches

It was sufficient for our stay room was nice and comfortable- only down side is that we could hear everything outside our room in corridor and staiwell. Other people coming and going which isnt an issue at most places

Clean and conveniently located near train station. I would recommend to update the bathrooms, especially the toilet paper dispensers.

After my first night stay my room was attended to, bed made and my towels were replaced/changed but this only happened once after my first night stay out of four nights. The room was dark even, no real light came through. My room was opposite conference rooms and noisy til quite late at night. Wouldn't recommend that room nor to stay at this property. Disappointing experience.

Property was what you would expect at this price point, however I did have a few unwanted guests (cockroaches) in the room which grossed me out. Needs a few pest bombs set off

Check in easy, staff member very happy and helpful. Room clean and sufficient. Although wifi was down. Noisy argument in very early morning was a bit much But for the one night it was fine.
