Thehotel is a bit outdated and staff are not that friendly. They don't tell you much about dining options and prices. She did tell us about the Happy Hour between 4-5pm but didn't say how much per drink. We just assumed that drnks are half price or at least at reduced prize. We had a margaritas which doesn't taste anything like it and a glass of red wine. When we checked out, we were charged full price. I asked the manager and she said oh its already at a discounted price because normally it's $31 per drink. So that means $26 for the margaritas and $14 for the wine. She said she'll check and will charge accordingly. They sent us an email and still charge us $40 plus credit card fee of over $3. I looked on their website and they normally charge $26 for a margaritas. Thats absolutely disgusting. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

This is our second time we stayed here. 16 years apart. This time, we got a 2 QB room and the bed is two steps away from the main door. Stayed for 4 nights. We had 2 adult and 1 teenager, very stingy in supplying ear buds and lotions. 3 Ear bud pieces for 3 people for 4 nights. I even had to asked for more lotion cause 1 little tube is apparently enough for 3 people for 4 nights! Windows needs cleaning. The facilities are beautifully set as usual. Parking on the streets are just as good and easy. Save yourself parking fee

Overall the property was ok however the lunch at the pool bar was very poor. I ordered an Indonesian chicken salad which consisted of two tenderloins and half a cos lettuce with a bit of carrot. No dressing and not enough chicken for amount if lettuce. Very poor. Shopping across the bridge is poor as most shops vacant .

Restaurant meal options very limited for a resort title. Inconvenient at the time of stay as a lot of redevelopment was underway in the area & therefore options to eat elsewhere or have any entertainment options within walking distance were not available. The rooms seemed quite dated & not well set out compared with my most recent stays at other venues.

We loved the location right on the beach and it was more quiet than in Surfer's Paradise. The pool is big and it has a good vibe. We were staying over Easter and the waiting time for food was very long at times which we didn't understand. Overall, the staff was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

The hotel entrance was stunning and gave a great first impression, and the concierge was helpful at check-in. Unfortunately, things went downhill from there. There was rubbish outside our room, and the fridge hadn’t been cleaned—old food inside made it smell terrible. My toddler also found food scraps under the bed, and the bedsheets looked like they hadn’t been changed. We even waited outside our room for 5–10 minutes thinking it was being cleaned, only to find no one was inside. The lagoon view room was pretty, but you can’t actually swim in the lagoon—it’s decorative only. The kids pool didn’t feel clean enough for our toddler to use either. The rooms and hallways felt very outdated and didn’t match the modern vibe of the entrance. Accessibility also seemed like an afterthought, with features not suited for pregnant guests or people with disabilities. On the bright side, the beach is right next door. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
