This hotel is in a great location, super convenient to travel to and from the airport but the hotel feels very overdue for upgrading. The carpet in the room is dark and depressing, the cabinets are weathered and dated looking as is the bathroom. The shower tub combination is a disaster waiting to happening. The hallways have a damp odour that is made worse by the carpet deodorant or whatever they use in the hallways, it takes your breathe away in a not good way. This hotel isn’t a 5 star property in my opinion, 3.5 maybe but not more than that. The staff were friendly and helpful for sure and I will give the breakfast spread an excellent review as well but overall I was disappointed by the aesthetics of this property.

Excellent location with easy access to the train station. Beautifully presented, stylish decor. As someone who worked in hotels it was lovely to find a hotel with true 5 star service, all the staff were friendly and helpful. Room service was the best we’ve had, the Buddha bowl was fresh and delicious, the burger tasty with crispy chips. The beds were so comfortable, we slept much later than we planned! Look forward to visiting again.

Really nice hotel, we were selected as guests of the day for our stay so got free breakfast and access to the upstairs club which had free liquor and snacks and a really high end vibe. Really made us feel special and saved us money! Had lots of great breakfast buffet options. Parking is onsite which is nice but a bit pricey. Location is near a shopping area and beautiful park however there were some street people around day and night which you felt bad for. The pool was also really nice, hot tub was ok. Would absolutely stay here again!

The disappointing feature was the buffet breakfasts. The staff on all the four occasions we had breakfast failed to routinely replenish the fresh cut fruit bowls and looked blankly when they were asked to do so and even then failed to replace several empty bowls. The array of breads were very limited and again weren't replenished. They didn't even bother to bring out any pastries on two days and fruit bread was only present on one day (one piece only which my wife and I shared!) I don't know whether it is a staffing or managerial issue, but it let down an otherwise pleasant stay. The buffet breakfasts are certainly not cheap, and clients should expect a better experience for their money. If we return to stay at the hotel, we will look elsewhere for breakfast. In all, extremely disappointing.

Amazing hotel. I have stayed here before. Very clean. Friendly staff. Very central. Just a few minutes walk to the city.

Elegant, beautiful room. Everything was perfect, I would recommend this hotel to our pickiest friends.

From check in to check out, my whole stay was fantastic! Right from the start I was made to feel that I was their only guest. As it was my first stay with Sofitel I received a complimentary room upgrade with a view of the beautiful Anzac Square. We had a bite to eat for dinner at Cuvee and it was delicious. The staff were so polite, professional and were so very attentive. The hotel was tastefully decorated, with beautiful amenities and access to Central Station right at your door. Queen St Mall just a few minutes walk away. I would not hesitate to stay here again and am already planning my next visit :)

Excellent Customer Service

Beautiful hotel in heart of Brisbane. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Beds were too soft for my liking and new mattress would be suggested as they had some permanent indentation from use which made it hard to get really comfortable. Again firmer mattress even medium density would have been nice. Also the furniture needed to be moved for a deep cleaning as it was pretty dirty under beds and night table. We knew that because we dropped an earring and had to move stuff so saw it first hand. The lobby and service was top shelf though.

Great all round Could not fault it. Would definitely recommend it
