Great room. We ordered room service it was nice food and good value. Great customer service provided by all.

The hotel staff were very nice and helpful, room was clean and comfortable, and the location was excellent. The food was also good. Overall, a great experience.

Great stay

Walking distance to dining places in Darling square and Harbour. Magnificent views of city as we had harbour view room. Staff very helpful and food at breakfast nice too. Highly recommend.

The location is superb. Lovely place to stay

View from our room was mostly construction. Bit of a let down, especially when you’ve paid for a harbour view. Hotel stay otherwise was lovely, staff are all very polite and helpful, and food and cocktails were excellent. Would definitely stay here again.

Very good hotel, quite new and modern. Service fantastic, good breakfast. Location is very good too. All of us loved it there.

the view is not good

Seems like this property is tiring quickly and most spaces are in need of a deep clean. Floors Around furniture and skirting boards, behind doors etc has years of dirt and dust. Used to stay here, went to Crown and recently come back here due to Crown being booked but won’t be returning. The new construction in front of this building will hinder view shafts considerably. Not an issue currently but something to consider in coming months.

Good spot

Loved it! My daughter was sad to leave - she loved to pool, the fish tank, and the chocolates the lovely concierge lady gave to her! Will definitely be staying again x

We returned to the Sofitel Sydney Darling Harbour after a previous stay that was genuinely lovely. Sadly, this visit didn’t live up to that memory. Maybe it was the school holidays, but the atmosphere felt more chaotic than calm. The pool—once a peaceful retreat—was completely overrun with kids. We’re parents ourselves, so we get it, but this was next level. Towels were scattered everywhere, public areas were messy, and (surprisingly) there was even a security guard at the pool. Not exactly the 5-star luxury vibe we came back for. The room was fine. Comfortable enough, but definitely not standout. The highlight was the breakfast—great variety, fresh food, and lovely service. But overall, it feels like the Sofitel is having an identity crisis. If it wants to be a family-friendly resort, that’s fine. But right now, it’s missing the mark for guests expecting a refined, luxury experience.

Great location close to public transportation and very walkable.

Had a great stay. Amazing gym, friendly staff, close to so many dining and nightlife options. Across the street from the ICC. We didn’t use the pool, but it looked nice, on the 4th floor outdoors. Breakfast buffet had so many options, incredible. Highly recommend.

I loved my stay. So convenient. The only issue I had was that I went away for a much needed break where I wanted quiet. At first I found the digital key idea to be cool and the hotel welcoming with their well executed links to spa, dining etc but after several emails and messages and having to download an app that was glitchy, I found it to be the opposite of what I wanted. I had also pressed the “do not disturb” button a number of times but room service knocked a few times to check if I wanted towels etc. maybe the bottons time out. The rest was perfect. The staff helpful and friendly. The bar upstairs had perfect cocktails and the pool looked amazing.
