Great property and location and supreme service - and the views amazing! Just love the room a little warmer next time being the middle of winter but super minor point. We loved our stay for a mini break from the north!!!

April helped us to plan our visit to Port Arthur and advised us to stop through Eaglehawk Neck/Pirates Bay based on their own visit there which was super nice and turned out great.

I don't know if you could find a better location in Hobart than the Tasman. Very central, close to restaurants and right along the waterfront. And the room that we stayed in was absolutely top notch. Staff was very helpful and accommodating, housekeeping was excellent. Not much in the way of amenities and we chose to eat elsewhere most of the time, finding that the menus were a bit overpriced but we had great coffee from the restaurant every morning so we were happy campers!

Beautiful property and location. Short < 5 minute walk to the harbor, Market and dozens of bars/restaurants.
I t is on a short, but steep hill so be prepared.
Check-in was personalized and we were offered sparkling water, which was nice- but did not get any information about the hotel ( when /where is breakfast, fitness room, room service availability, etc).
Many tours begin at 7-720 am, but breakfast in the hotel begins at 7 am so we had to skip breakfast on 2 days.
The weekend buffet was decent but not a lot of options compared to other buffets at the same price point. However, the quality of the food was very good.
The room was spacious and clean. Beautiful decor. Lots of plugs and mirrors available. Electronic blinds, etc. No tub in our room, thus the bathroom was spacious.
Would definitely recommend!
