Nice hotel. Street facing rooms are very noisy if you have the windows open. We stayed in April and the room was hot for sleeping. AC not available until summer months. Rooms are very small. We had two suitcases and there was no where to put them.

Great Stay!….perfect location, access to metro and walkable to all sights. We even had our own Christmas Market on the next block. We visited 6 Markets in Vienna and this was the best!
Front desk was extra helpful and always with a smile. Very affordable, for all we received.
Would definitely recommend and we will stay here again when we return!

The rooms, staff, bar and location are perfect. It was a bargain for a nice hotel with a fantastic breakfast. I highly recommend this as to not be in the fast paced area in the city center. This is a 10 minute walk to the opera house where you can hop on hop off on two different routes. Fantastic.

We had a great 4 night stay at Hotel Gilbert in August. The rooms were comfortable, clean, modern design. The bed was super comfy.
The breakfast buffet had a good selection and we loved the “overnight oats”.
The restaurant /breakfast room is bright with modern wood and plants.

Almost new hotel, renovated in 2021, has very contemporary decor, great breakfast, amazing service. While 15 min walk away from the very heart but many of the historical attractions were within 5-10 min walk. Would love to stay here again
