ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof

The hotel is very close to the train station which is useful. However, there are very few restaurants nearby which is surprising as there are so many hotels and office blocks in the area. If you want to walk into the city centre, it is a about a 30-40 minute walk. You can get public transport though. The breakfast is very good and good value for money.

Excellent hotel with friendlt staffs

We had a great stay at Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof. The hotel is modern, clean, and efficiently run—everything you’d expect from the Ibis brand and more. Our room was bright, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a great bed that made for a restful night after exploring the city. The location is excellent—right next to the main train station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around Vienna or catching early trains. Despite being in such a central spot, the hotel was quiet and peaceful inside. The staff were friendly, helpful, and made the check-in process smooth and easy. We really appreciated their warm hospitality and the reliable service throughout our stay. Overall, Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof is a solid choice for comfort, convenience, and value. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Vienna!

Bad experience

There was unpleasant smell of the cleaning chemicals.

Good location and good breakfast.

No drinking water, no coffee/tea, nothing at all in the room. A bit disappointing. Great breakfast though and very convenient location. The staff at the reception are a bit dismissive.

The property is next to train station but surprisingly it is very quiet. The room was decent and with clean bathroom.

This location is perfect for those who need to use the Train station. It has plenty of forms of transportation and it has the Ibis quality and design. I will use this facility again.
