Not what we expected in Austria. Price charged was higher than Expedia booking. No explanation given.

Clean and nice room but empty no slippers

Just average. Small and loud outside at night with the restaurant below.

We really liked the location of the hotel - I didn't like there were no spare pillows in the room.

This hotel is in the heart of the Roman ruins, an ancient church, the Roman museum, etc. A perfect location for exploring it all by foot. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and the staff are very nice. They also have a nice restaurant, and because it's in the country, parking on the street is no problem.

Basic hotel, however with all you need for one night. Plenty of workers living there, restaurant open even now....

I was in Petronell-Carnuntum for the Late Antiquity Festival weekend & the hotel location & amenities were ideal. The room, bathroom & furnishings were lovely, comfortable & clean. The room could have been improved with a fan since the weather was quite warm. The town is small & interesting for fans of Roman architecture & history. I was delighted. The hotel also caters to bicyclists I noticed. The on-site restaurant was delicious & reasonable. I followed the recommendations of the servers & was very content with a mixed grill one night & sautéed fish the next. There are vegetarian choices also. My dinners were freshly prepared & beautiful. And there is a fine bar, too. I paid for breakfast & it was also very good with a vast array of breads, meats, cheeses, spreads, cakes, yogurt, cereals, fruit, etc. The walk to the Bahnhof for a return to Vienna (an hour away) was about ten minutes from the hotel. Overall, avvery satisfying experience. There are a few other eating/drinking establishments in town but not much. This is a place to unwind and immerse yourself in a generous mix of Roman buildings.

We stayed here after visiting Parndorf shopping centre. A friendly hotel with comfortable rooms. The restaurant has a great choice on the menu. Very good!

Good but some staff not familar with expedia and ask about payments

We had a great stay. Good location not far from the airport. Comfortable room. Clean. Service was great. We had a lovely dinner at the hotel restaurant. Breakfast was OK.

A great team run this hotel. Arrived soon after the kitchen had closed but not a problem the chef fired everything up and made me a meal, it is in a very quite little village but next to a Roman park beautiful scenery

stayed one night and it was barbeque night fantastic very friendly and in a lovely quite little village. would reccomend highly.

My wife and our two kids stayed in Marc Aurel for just one night. Although quite inexpensive, hotel is not maintained well and it stinks on old-kitchen-oil throughout the whole hotel. The kitchen (poor shape) is at the entrance and its door was constantly open. Breakfast was fine but service was poor overall.

Minden rendben volt, pont, ahogy vártuk. A parkolás könnyű, a személyzet kedves volt, az étterem a késői érkezés ellenére még kiszolgált minket, a szoba tiszta és kényelmes volt.

Sehr schöner und gemütlicher Landgasthof mit sehr freundlichem Personal.
