A nice out of the way hotel. Made the mistake of trying to check in early. Everything was locked. Luckily someone from the restaurant was able to help us to our room. There was a lot of outdoor space but rain kept us from using it. Loved watching the ducks on the river.

This was our first stop from the channel port of Calais and it served our purposes very well. Reception was cool but efficient and things continued to improve from there. The hotel does not accept pets.

We booked Au Comte De Mercy for one evening at the end of August this year. Upon arrival, we loved the building exterior and it's setting on the river. The owner greeted us, speaking great english and showed us to our room which was a 'Superior Double Room' with a balcony. The room was perfectly nice and very clean. We slept well and had a lovely, albeit very short stay! We'd recommend Au Comte De Mercy to anyone looking to visit the area. We did have a bit of trouble getting to the hotel however! There was a fair on in the village which prevented access to the road! We managed to find a detour but it might be worth checking with the hotel whether the fair is on as it's a considerable detour!

Excellent and welcoming staff. Nice, clean, comfortable room. Quiet area near river.Safe parking. Food is great, but plan ahead for evening meal if you have very small kids...this is typical French/Belgian cousine atmosphere so people hang out with friends/family and chat it up over food...you may have to order and then one person take kid to room or walk around while you wait for food.

We were there when the owners were away, and there was no restaurant facilities. The lady left in charge couldn't have been more helpful but it was difficult to actually gain access to the hotel as it is behind high locked gates and no one was answering.

We stayed by chance and loved it!! - very clean spacious room - easy car parking - drove into Leige 15 mins to see Christmas Markets - very pleased we were staying at ACdeM - most importantly the in house restaurant was 5 star! - simply beautiful, lots of well presented locals which is always a good sign - the owner & staff simply could not do enough for you - it's a long way from Sydney but nearly worth the drive for the food!!

Stunning food, both Dinner and Breakfast. Quite expensive but still very good value. The hotel is very close to the river, and the gardens and terrace would be stunning on a sunny day. Good WiFi, good free secure parking. The only downside was lack of hot water first thing in the morning. We would certainly stay there again.

Hotel backs onto the river giving wonderful views for a late afternoon drink. Given a beautiful suite as the room we had booked was unavailable for the full booking period. Did not have breakfast but the evening meal was very good with the set meal being good value for money.
