Worst hotel in our 16 day trip. Nothing here has quality. I had to rate one star and it is because of its location, because it was top notch location, but that’s it. Literally I don’t know how this hotel has 4.3 stars in google maps. Don’t fall for it, nor for the pictures. It’s not accurate at all. There’s a man in the reception who made us feel less than welcome, it was an awkward and weird situation, check in was like 15 minutes long because he was not even there and then it came with and awkward conversation that was more like a scold. Got to our room and it was old, but not in a nice, cozy, charming way. It was outdated, the bed felt old and there were only two cheap pillows for a king size bed (2 single beds together). In the bathroom there were no tissues, and toilet paper was that yellowish cheap one, and rough. The “shampoo/soap/bodywash” came in a plastic bag, which could say a lot about this “hotel”. This place sells itself as a boutique hotel or something similar, but there’s nothing “boutique” about it in any space of the hotel whatsoever. There are plenty of options in beautiful Bruges, no need to stay here ever again.

First the person at check in was very nice and helpful We felt very well welcomed. The room was not like an ordinary hotel. It was like a house with 3 floors( 2 bedrooms). It was large, clean and 2 big bathroom. Perfect for a family or 2 couples. Breakfast was great and inclyded.

The hotel is relatively clean, the included breakfast is great, however if you have the misfortune to be assigned a room in the back, the stairs are a nightmare to climb with lugage and to top it of there was no light in the stairs, on the plus side you are walking distance to all the tourist attractions, restaurants, shops
If you arrive or leave bruges by train there is a city free shuttle from the station to about half a block from the hotel

The property is very convenient to all tourist activities and restaurants. They serve an A plus breakfast included and the staff are extremely pleasant. We were placed in the oldest part of the hotel which is accessed by a very narrow set of ancient (evidently historic) stairs which is difficult with luggage. There are alot of newer rooms. If I were to book again I would request the new part of the hotel only. I saw those rooms and they were lovely. There is a free shuttle bus to the train station run by the city which is only a half block from the hotel. That is a real plus.

We checked in with 2 friends & were asked if we would prefer to stay in a small house rather than 2 rooms Yes we said! What a great choice it was not a small house but massive with beautiful old beams a little garden out of the back & a kitchen area. Fabulous place & so quiet on a night.
