Great hotel with excellent locations

I’m giving my rating based on price. The hotel could be amazing if they would just figure out a way to vent the bathrooms out. The rooms get so humid bc there are no fans in the bathroom that anything wet will never dry. It is a shame, bc the hotel seems to be renovated. Also the hotel has no contacts in the tourism business so if you want to do anything touristy, they have no clue.

The only downside is that the room was very humid, and the quilt felt wet.

Check in levou quase 30 minutos, entre verificação de documentos e liberação do quarto. Já no quarto, havia cheiro de mofo/umidade, as luzes na cabeceira estavam quebradas e/ou não funcionais. No banheiro, o teto estava com muitas moscas dentro do box, um dos pisos quebrados próximo ao ralo, chuveiro estava com a mangueira em pessimas condições e quase quebrada, chuveiro vazando água pelos lados. Fomos transferidos para outro quarto, o chão claramente não havia sido limpo (haviam papéis de bala/chocolate embaixo da cama e muita poeira), cofre não estava funcionando, a porta do frigobar não fechava direito, as luzes da cabeceira não funcionavam (ambos os lados), de novo cheiro de mofo no quarto. No check out, fomos cobrados pelas águas que havíamos consumido (valor acima do encontrado no cardápio). Tentamos pagamento em dinheiro e não havia troco, aguardamos quase 15 minutos e no final pagamos com cartão, o que não era nossa opção desejada. Funcionários não deram nenhuma importância para nenhum dos problemas. Muito decepcionado com o hotel no geral e a diária não é barata para o nível das acomodações.

Great service, clean and central. Good variety for breakfast. The only issue for me was no bar or room service after 10pm. But I was allowed to order take away. All good

The overall condition are ok, but i had a terrible experience at my arrival. Parking the car in front of the hotel to drop my bags and take inside the property, with less than 5 min my car was towed by the police, no warning from the Hotel. The person responsible to park the cars was in front of the Hotel, he saw all and no action...

Good stay for price but hotel room was not very clean!

I definitely wouldn't stay at this hotel again if I have another option. We had several issues: 1- the bathroom curtain had mold, 2- the sofa had stains (did someone pee on it?), 3- the bathroom door handle was loose, 3- you can't hang a Short dress without it touching the floor,4- they did not clean the room for 1 day, 5- they left only 1Towel for 2 people in the room, 6- the sink is tiny, 7- Wi- Fi is very slow. They gave us a disable room( which we did not request), and said that they couldn't change to a regular room. A nice employee showed 4 more rooms (for disable), but they All had the mold in the shower curtain, and sofas with stains. They did change the curtain and sofa, after we complained, and fixed the door handle. Breakfast is ok, but we saw an employee touching the faucet from the juice jar with his bare hand (no gloves).

The service has a huge lack of service due to the fact that their employees do not speak English or any other language, only Portuguese. They also over charged us by mistake and it took a long time to get the reimbursement back.

I dont recommend this hotel to anyone, our room was too small and smell bad.

A hotel for business, to sleep. All attractions are far away and there is almost nothing to do at walk distance besides a shopping in from of the hotel

The service was extraordinary. Staff was always very helpful, friendly, and willing to assist you. We received many suggestions about places worth seeing from the hotel staff.

The staff are excellent, I have stayed in Novotels in other countries and without a doubt the staff in Rio de Janeiro will go that extra mile to make your stay comfortable, excellent. The hotel is clean and the food is good. If you are wanting a beach holiday then this hotel is not the one, 40 minutes away from Coco Cabana and with the traffic it took 2 hours, however it is cheap to get taxis.

I stayed here 1 year before the Olympics. I attended an international conference held in Rio Centro. The location was reasonably convenient for going to Rio Centro. On my way, I saw the Olympic Stadium, and I think the hotel will be good for Olympic goers.

People and service are great, but bar service is just terrible.

O quarto é bem espaçoso, boas toalhas e cama muito confortável.

Boa, o quarto não estava impecavelmente limpos, algumas teias de aranha e toalhas manchadas.

Bom hotel, localizado em frente ao Shopping Metropolitano, o que facilita bastante com alimentação. É razoavelmente perto do Riocentro (5km). Tem piscina e academia, que não utilizamos. O café da manhã é bom padrão normal (frutas, pães, cereais, ovos e opções quentes).
