Everyone who worked at the hotel was very nice and welcoming. They did their best to cater to my needs. I think they were still working on some areas of the hotel because it isn't completed, but it was still a nice place to stay. I enjoyed the free breakfast and the free water bottles everyday.

My stay in Galaxy was a pleasure. Starting with the staff who are all wonderful and kind. I felt welcome from the first minutes after arrival. The room was very big with two beds. AC worked wonderful and the bathroom was very large as well. Just be advised there is no elevator in this facility so if you have ambulatory problems this will not be the place for you. That would be the only negative ... however it is only 4 stories tall. The location is nice and quiet. They have bicycles FREE to loan to guests. The location is nicely placed halfway between the city proper and Angkor Wat. The food and service in the hotel restaurant was wonderful as well.

Pick up from the airport was included in the booking but They didn't even respond to the 2 emails we sent (24 & 12 hours before checking in). from there it all went downhill. We were the only guests (Some guests arrived the next day). There is no lift, thank God our room was on first floor. The staff did offer to help with the bags. There is no cafe or restaurant within the hotel (still in progress apparently). The overall cleanliness of the hotel and our room was okay, nothing great. The bathroom door was improperly built and didn't close. The staff was very friendly. They booked tuk tuk for us into the city using passapp. We wanted a taxi back to the airport, but the staff could only book a tuk-tuk using pasapp. We ended up booking a taxi using a grab. Overall, it appears as though the idea was really good while building the hotel but they have run out of money. It is a about $2 tuk tuk ride away from City central. Friendly staff makes up for the shortcomings with the half built hotel.

The reservation was pre-paid in full and confirmed a double room with a large bed and garden views. The booking included airport transfer.  On arrival at the airport, there was no transfer waiting for me. Things got worse though, much worse. On check-in I was told the hotel no longer deals with hotels.com because they haven’t been paid. I was told I could only stay one night. Instead of a double room with a large bed, it was a twin room with 2 single beds. Instead of a garden view, I was staring at a sheet of corrugated steel. The toilet didn’t flush, the cistern was constantly overflowing, the phone on the bedside table was not connected. The electrical connection to the hot water system was open and exposed and located directly above the shower head. It looked like if one accidentally sprayed water on it, one would be at risk of being electrocuted. Water and electricity = Not a good combination!  I was unable to contact hotels.com (Australian number only). I felt stranded. I had no alternative but to find another hotel for the remaining nights (Not through hotels.com). I did not see any other guests at this place. It appeared I was the only guest staying there. It was downright creepy. Because customer service cannot be contacted from overseas through the app, I will never use hotels.com again. Deleted the app.

The first room that was given to us was full of mosquitoes. The bathroom sink was also broken, so we were given another room. This new room didn't have as many mosquitoes, which was great. The airport pickup didn't work out. The reason they said was 'You didn't give us the 2 alphabets before the flight number'. a) You could have asked for it b) it was Thai airlines (which I had mentioned in the email), why were the alphabets needed, or couldn't they have looked this up? The complementary bikes were all flat. When we asked to use one, there was much confusion/discussion. The staff was very helpful otherwise.

This hotel is nothing like the photos. Everything in the room eas broken, including the windows and doors. The room was ingrained with dirt, the beds were rock hard and we had booked the most expensive room.  We decided it was better to leave at 1am than to suffer for even one night.  What was worse was the awful, awful service. The staff had no sense or common courtesy - incredibly rude.  We have never had such an terrible experience. If we could give minus stars, we would.

When I arrived at Siem Reap Airport, my immigration procedure took much time, but the driver offered by hotel was so kind of waiting long for me. I cannot forget his smile. On the next day, when he took me to Ankor wat to see the sunrise, he also served to me too kindly.

This is a wear down hotel. Bed light in both rooms we stayed are not working and cannot be fixed. Telephone in both rooms are not working. You need to walk to the front desk to report anything or ask for help! Unfortunately we were assigned a room on 3rd floor, while the stairs on turn corner is very sharp and can easily missing the steps!!! Curtains are broken and cannot be properly closed. Swimming pool looks like it were occupied by some kids from outside.

I stayed in this hotel for 1\2 of my stay in Siem Reap. liked that this hotel was not in the city center so very quiet, and there's a small store for drinks and a couple snacks across the street. It's also a bit closer to the Angkor temples than Pub Street, so their hotel tuk tuk rates for getting around were much better than the hotels in town. Chumlit the manager was very helpful in suggesting activities other than viewing the temples, but didn't push us to purchase tickets (which can happen sometimes!). The breakfast was also a good variety of "American" and Asian foods, and wasn't the exact same every day. The room was nice, clean and I don't think a couple lizards on the wall could have been avoided. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

The hotel is located right outside the archaeological park of Angkor Wat and all of its splendors, which was our reason for choosing it. The hotel does have free bicycles to use in exploring, but we were warned not to attempt it as the rainy season makes it difficult (and, in fact, the temples are spread out over a much larger area than we anticipated). Instead, the tuktuk driver who picked us up from the airport became our daily guide, and we appreciated his kind patience and good humor. Overall, the hotel staff are very eager to please, and on the whole they succeed. Remember that this is not a luxury hotel, and you'll be fine: we had a gecko hiding on the wall that made alarming chirping noises at intervals throughout the night, for instance. The breakfast is modest but satisfying and again quite thoughtful in its presentation. The room was sparse but comfortable enough. You'll want to bring your own shampoo.
