Long Set Resort

Best location Outstanding beach Amazing staff and GM On the sand dinners and bbq Seriously, cannot find any fault. The GM even invited me to join his table and family for dinners as I was solo. The place is just a dream. Go!

This was a lovely bungalow style property right on long beach and the pier was right next to the property so easy to get to! And the staff meet you at the port and help with your bags. Room was lovely and spacious and the robes were fantastic. Unfortunately the shower didn’t drain very well so after 2 people showering you did have a slight pool situation. The staff were very friendly but the restaurant staff were not particularly attentive, often having to gain their attention to order food but this seemed to be a running theme on the island at other places. The beach and the sun beds are fabulous. Breakfast was included, lovely selection of fruits with a ramen and omlette stand. Hot buffet section was minimal. Basic breakfast but nice. Would recommend this place.

Resort is set in a beautiful part of LongSet beach and within walking distance to the pier. Hotel staff were friendly and accommodating but the best staff member was a sweet resident resort dog named mack who played and swam in the ocean and was always on the search for more belly rubs from hotel guests.

Very friendly staff who gave solid advice. It appeared to be the best property on beautiful Long Set Beach. A bit expensive, but nice pool and beach area and the food was good.

We loved the resort! It was beautiful and the beach was stunning. The staff was wonderful! Especially Chan Ny. He was very attentive and accommodating for us. We did have one safety issue/ concern with an unwanted guest on the property. The staff took care of this immediately and after the one issue- it was not a problem again. The only recommendation that I would have is to enclose the gyn so that there are no mosquitos (it was swarming every day) and so that the air conditioner works. The air conditioner was running every day, but because the gym is not kept enclosed, it did not work very well and I am sure it was expensive to the resort. They are working on expanding and building at the moment, but it never did disrupt our vacation and it was great to see that this place is doing well. I would definitely return!

Awesome staff

Amazing stay at this beautiful resort. We woke each morning to a fresh, delicious and varied breakfast buffet that had lots of options for our vegetarian daughter as well. Staff were exceptionally friendly and Mr Sim went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional by helping us book a van tour and snorkelling.

The property sent representatives to the ferry dock to meet us and to take our luggage to the hotelStaff was helpful. Rooms were clean. Food was overall good although limited options for vegetarians. The hotel also arranged tours for our family.

Excellent location from pier (ferries) and in the beach. Lovely rooms with good AC. Beds are super firm (if you like this) and the only negative is the lack of hot/warm water but it’s so hot it’s not a huge issue! Highly recommend!

Terrible Stay! Injuried on Scooter, No First Aid When Asked! What Happens if Someone Seriously Injurys themselves? Breakfast okay, but no great! Charged 10 dollar's because the keys locked in the room and they had to let me in! Absolutely Disappointed will not be back! The hostel provided better service!

The staff met us at the ferry dock holding a sign, which was cool, unexpected and helpful as it can be confusing figuring out where to go when you dont speak Khmer, here. ...the resort is clean, well mainatined, comfortable and the staff--everyone--was kind and went out of their way to provide excellent service. the mgr. Owen speaks English (is from the UK or States or anyway, really went all out to provide me and my girlfriend with all the information, ferry tickets/schedules...taxi/tour rental, everything we wanteded and needed to have a super stay on the island! We will come back also because the location is great. quiet, plenty of shade on the beach (hard to find on sok san), but easy to ferry or taxi or scooter to anywhere on the island for partying, food or touring.

We had a great stay. The resort is very close to the ferry dock. Someone met us at the boat and carried our luggage. Check in was organized and easy. The rooms are small but adequate. Our refrigerator was dirty and full of water when we arrived. We notified the front desk, but noone came to clean it and it was not cleaned throughout our 3 night stay. The beach is beautiful and the location was the best. The accommodations on the island range from tents and treehouses to private islands. We felt this was a nice middle ground. The luxury resorts are far from amenities, and this resort is on a nice beach within walking distance of restaurants and the main town.

Overall I think long set resort is a nice option. It’s not going to be uber comfortable - staying on an island in a developing country mind you but the scenery is gorgeous, the room was clean, the food and drinks are good, staff are helpful and you have access to kayaks and paddle boards. I think compared to other places I saw nearby this was a gem. Martyna was very helpful and was helpful for communicating. The rest of the staff work hard and do what they can to help the guests. Recommend it but manage expectations.

Nice clean professionally managed resort with good spacious family rooms. The included breakfast is generous and reflects the local cuisine well.

The first day everything was going well,but the second day when it started to rain hard the water started to pour out from the light fixtures on the ceiling on to the bed below! Luckily it happened when I woke up already!

Spacious rooms right on the beach! You go to Koh Rong for the white sand beach and clear teal water. The hotel's section of the beach is very clean. Bioluminescent Plankton - recent development means it is no longer possible to see the Plankton from the shore, but the hotel does offer boat tours at night to see them
